Facilities Mechanical / HVAC Engineer Associate Level
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
Six (6) years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related mechanical facilities systems
EIT/FE completion required
Ideal candidate will also possess:
Two (2) years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Oregon highly desired, actively pursuing licensure required
Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD and Navisworks software
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-discipline design teams
Passion for buildings and construction
Two (2) years field experience
Responsibilities:
As a Facilities Mechanical Engineer in Corvallis, OR you will work on projects that enable the heart of our clients manufacturing. You and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools. Responsibilities include design oversight for piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gasses for extensive tools in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet. The design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory.
As the mechanical representative on a multi-discipline design team, you will work directly with other design staff, client equipment owners, researchers, and equipment manufacturers of next generation and prototype tools to build utility requirement documents to allow the development of installation design packages. You may also provide technical training, quality check designs, and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process. You may have PE stamping responsibility for the designs.
